European Credit Transfer System (ECTS):

The European Credit Transfer System is a system for the calculation and transfer of academic credit. It aims to provide the best conditions of implementation in order to organize academic recognition according to the transparency of the academic work programs and the success of students.

According to the main principles of ECTS a normal academic year equals 60 credits.The student takes the transcript of records indicating the names and credits of lessons from the host University.The transcript of records defining the academic work program of the student abroad is given with the official Learning Agreement drawn up between the University and the student .The European Union Agency Works towards to ensure an increase in the prevalence of the ECTS.
